Australian New Zealand Army Corp (ANZACs)

The ANZACs played a key role in both World War I and World War II. Between 1939 and1945 nearly one million service personnel fought in defence of Great Britain. They left their homelands to fight in Europe, Asia and North Africa. Back home the Australian ‘Diggers’  also had to defend their country against invasion by the Japanese.
